Amazing! It would get a perfect score if it were more cost-effective... By Josh The Real Touch is something of an anomaly. On one hand, it is a technological step in the right direction, on the other it's one of the most expensive forms of masturbation on Earth. First off, The Real Touch is a giant (the size of a regulation football) peanut shaped holster. It plugs into your computer via USB cable. The mechanism that does the work is an intricate blend of heating element, lube reservoir and dispenser, and two belt-driven rubber membranes. The heating element is pleasant and mild, but over time it can get really warm. Try not to use the device for more than 30-40 minutes if you can. The lube dispenser is fairly straight forward. You fill it up every time you use the device, and it should more than deliver what you need during the process. The belts are absolutely amazing to say the least. They slide, roll, rub and change direction providing the closest simulation to actual sexual contact with another person I have ever experienced. The entire package is designed to work in conjunction with mainstream adult movies, available on the Real Touch website, that are encoded with programming to recreate the actions taking place on screen. If the performers in the movie engage in oral, anal, vaginal, or manual stimulation, the Real Touch runs the specific program that tells is to simulate penetration, in, out, tongue flick, etc... All of these elements come together to form a perfect storm of sexual stimulation. Of course, all of this comes at a price. The device costs in excess of $200, depending on where you get it. Though there are a small handful of free movies (10 straight, 10 gay, 4 "male enhancement"), the majority of content is really expensive. Your three options are pay per minute (the package I buy $60 for 100 minutes), rental (7 days for $10), or purchase ($30 for unlimited viewing). Unfortunately these prices are for SCENES, not full-length movies. Each scene averages 5-12 minutes in length. I'm not saying that the cost isn't justified. It takes hours to encode a few seconds of video. What I am saying is that it would be nice if they could lower the purchase price to something more reasonable. The scenes do more than justify a paid subscription. Perhaps the best and most logical next step would be to offer an unlimited viewing package for an auto pay monthly subscription. I'd gladly pay $30-40 a month to use my device. The only other real negative I feel should be noted it the cost of operation, namely lube. The reservoir holds a few ounces of lube. During a single sitting, the dispenser will discharge most of this. Unfortunately, this is not all used. A lot of it will ooze out of the cracks and the opening, so sit on a towel or be prepared to clean up a massive mess every time you use it. If an 8 ounce bottle of lube costs $15-$20, that means that lube alone will run $5-$6 per use. When it is stored, it also has a tendency to leak a bit. I've had mine for 3 weeks, used it maybe a dozen times, and I just finished my second 16oz bottle of lube.
After all of that long-winded talk of downsides, let me add this positive. I'm what the medical community calls a retarded ejaculator. It takes me an inordinate amount of time and stimulation to reach orgasm. I can count on one hand all of the times I've reached climax without having to tag in and do substantial work myself, sex toys or my wife. Since we picked ours up, we have both noticed a substantial drop in the amount of time and work required to get me off. I've never known a toy that can legitimately improve and treat my condition. The Real Touch does for jerking off what a Ferrari would do for commuting to work. Hands down (pun intended), it is the single best sex toy ever created for men. Now, if only it didn't cost so damned much to operate...
Real Touch By Jay I purchased this product a couple weeks ago, and have used it. I will go over the downsides first. The set up time is a little lengthy so it's not a quick get it out and use it. Once you get everything connected together and to the computer, you have to start the program agent which controls the interface with the device. The device goes through a 2 min warm up cycle everytime you start it. I run windows 7 and have found that it is a little buggy at times. The agent and windows media player have a tough time staying connected to each other. Tech support is working on this problem and it should be solved with the next update. This is not a simple materbation device it is a high tech device.
